Why can’t Hey Freddy show Facebook group posts directly?

Facebook closed its Groups API in 2024 and gated groups are private by design, so there is no clean, terms-compliant way to pull group content into another site automatically. What we can do is keep this directory accurate — and our events feed already aggregates the public calendars automatically.

Are these groups run by Hey Freddy?

No. Every group belongs to its own admins and has its own rules. Read the pinned post before your first post — yard-sale groups in particular take their formatting seriously.
