Blue Moon Marquee is A.W. Cardinal and Jasmine Colette (Badlands Jass), a pair who write and perform original material rooted in anything that swings, jumps or grooves. After nine years of touring Europe and North America—from jazz clubs to dive bars to festival stages—they've developed a distinct sound that moves fluidly through blues, jazz, jump jive, folk, country, swing and Indigenous soul. Their music doesn't sit neatly in one category. Instead, it braids together early blues tones, jazz expression, country heart, folk spirit, soul swagger and rock rhythm. Lyrically, they often explore society's margins, weaving in Indigenous storytelling and poetic language. The result is a blend where every element belongs.
