Jeunesses Musicales Canada presents a theatrical evening set backstage at Montreal's Monument-National, where founders Lionel Daunais and Charles Goulet of Variétés lyriques plan their season. The production weaves together historical figures and fictional characters, moving between operetta arias and spirited dance numbers—waltzes, Charlestons, and more—drawing on a rich repertoire that crosses borders and eras. It's part history, part invention, all music.
