The Men of the Deeps formed in 1966, rooted in the friendships and hardships of coal mining in Cape Breton. This 60th anniversary concert honours the miners whose work is done and celebrates those carrying the tradition forward. The chorus shares the stories they've lived and sings about life underground, keeping alive a legacy built on memory, community, and song.
