YAMATO is a world-renowned taiko ensemble that has performed more than 4,500 shows across 55 countries. They're stopping in Fredericton for one night only, bringing their signature blend of massive drums, trained physicality, and explosive sound. The centrepiece is the Odaiko, a 500-kilogram drum carved from a 400-year-old tree, whose deep resonance anchors the entire performance. Expect precision, power, and drums of every size, played by performers trained to their absolute limit. The kind of show that holds grandparents and grandchildren equally rapt.
