Jeunesses Musicales Canada presents an evening set behind the scenes at Montreal's Monument-National, where the founding directors of Variétés lyriques discuss their upcoming season. The show weaves together historical figures and locations with a fictional storyline, moving between playful choruses and passionate serenades, Charleston numbers and waltzes. A parade of characters performs a rich repertoire drawn from operetta across a century and multiple countries.
